Social X is a structured program for individuals with ideas that address real social challenges – including ideas that use digital tools as part of the solution. We help you explore, test and develop your idea step by step. You apply as an individual. No company required.

Too many ideas that could improve society never get the chance to grow. Social X gives them space to be explored, tested and developed.
What is Social X?
Social X is a national program run by DigitalWell Ventures for people who want to work on ideas that address real social challenges.
It is for individuals who have an idea and want structured support to explore whether it can work in practice.
Through workshops, coaching and hands-on testing, participants get help to shape their idea, gather real feedback and clarify what the next step could be.
Social X is supported by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).
The program
Social X is built around a structured development process that helps individuals move from idea to clearer direction.
Throughout the program, participants work step by step with their idea. The focus is on understanding the social challenge they want to address, identifying who is affected and testing early versions of the solution in practice.
Rather than jumping directly to scaling or funding, Social X emphasises exploration and learning. Participants are encouraged to question assumptions, gather real feedback and adjust their idea based on what they discover.
The goal is not to rush forward, but to build a stronger foundation for whatever comes next.
Who it is for
Social X is for individuals who:
Have an idea that responds to a real social challenge
Want structured support to explore and test that idea
Are in an early stage and do not need to have a company
Are ready to commit time and effort to developing their idea

After the program
At the end of Social X, participants leave with a clearer understanding of their idea and its potential. Some continue developing it, while others reshape it or decide not to move forward.
Social X does not guarantee funding or implementation. Instead, it provides a stronger foundation and clearer direction for what comes next. Further support may be available through other DigitalWell Ventures programs, depending on the maturity of the idea.
